WELCOME BACK TROOPERS

This week (6-10 January), we'll:

  • Revisit class and school policies for the second semester
  • Begin to investigate the transformation from Civil War to Reconstrcution
  • Reading assignment: "Waging Peace: Reconstruction." Due block days 15/16 January)
    • ​Hard copy of reading avaiable in classroom; digital copy in KHS TEXTUAL READINGS LIBRARY

DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE ON THIS READING!!!  LOTS OF STUFF THERE.

Next week (13-17 January):

  • We discuss the Period of Reconstriuction (1863-1877); class discussion will parallel the reading.
  • TEST ON BLOCK DAYS
    • Test will be timed
    • Test will cover reading and class discussion material.

Subject Testing Days:

SOCIAL STUDIES: TUESDAYS, BLOCK DAYS

English: Tuesday, Block Days

Math: Block Days; Friday

Science: Tuesday, Friday

Foreign Lang: Monday, Friday

Electives: Monday, Friday

 

If a student has more than three tests scheduled on the same day, they MUST take at least three tests.

However, they can reschedule tests in subjects which are assigned on that subject's non-testing day.
